Pregnancy Skin Care products that work

I wish wish wish I started taking care of my skin sooner, but better late than never. The last three years in Japan have reinforced how effective the right skincare products for your skin can change everything. I’m a believer, Ive seen the results and most importantly I need the protection with this fair skin!

I had a good rhythm of products in rotation that I loved and worked for my skin in addition to dermarolling and a photo facial every once and a while out in town, then I got pregnant. Almost every product I was using had to be stopped, so I started over but was up for the challenge in finding “clean” (formulated without 50 ingredients, no sulfates, parabens, and phthalates) that actually worked. Sephora is a great place to start looking by the way, since they label their products very clearly “clean” or not!

Heres my list of tried and true that I’ve tested over the last few months with great results. P.S I’m 42! Also, these are all my own opinions, not an affiliate, ad, or sponsored!

Secret Aluminum Free Deodorant (rosewater scent)- works well even against Okinawa tropical island heat.

Bio Oil– perfect for stretch marks and also hydrating for dry skin all over, not sticky.

The Inkey list Vitamin C– affordable, soaks in quick, not sticky.

CEO glow by Sunday Riley– more moisturizing Vitamin C.

The Ordinary Matrixyl– Hylauronic Acid

Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask-Moisturizing cream fills in the cracks for me!

Beauty by Earth Sunless Tanner– Organic sunless tanner, great color and not bad scent!

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40– gel like sunscreen, acts like a primer, very lightweight, not greasy.

Ilia Super Serum Skin tint SPF 40– Serum like foundation, lightweight, great formula.

Bare Minerals Complexion rescue SPF 30– lightweight, moisturizing, doesnt crease!

Kosas under eye concealer– wonderful formula unlike any other, lightweight but buildable.
