It was a fun and full weekend. We kicked it off with these colossal donuts from shoppers grocery store, I assure you rainbow sprinkles and chocolate really are the best way to start anything.
Next was what I call our fake spring photo shoot, fake due to the 47 degree temperature that morning and the fact the gideon’s teeth were chattering! We’ll try again next weekend, can you tell I’m slightly anxious for warmth and blooming flowers?
The sun did come out the next day and I actually took a cat nap on the deck basking in the warmth! Then for the grand finale of the weekend… our Sunday Mardi gras style bible study complete with jambalaya, muffalettas, and cafe du monde coffee finished with bourbon bread pudding. What a weekend! Hope yours was as tasty!
