As a downtown local, I was thrilled to capture Marlowe’s wedding supporting the best downtown vendors in Fredericksburg Virginia! Marlowe got ready for her big day at the Publisher hotel, downtown Fredericksburg’s newest gem which suited her aesthetic perfectly. The navy blue walls and gold accents made a stunning backdrop for the getting ready portion of the day which is my favorite. Nothing tops the sacred moment of the becoming the bride!
Next, we headed just a few blocks over to the Ironclad Inn, formally the Kenmore Inn, where I had my own vow renewal ceremony, making this special day very personal to me. The updates to the inn are modern, fresh and bring a whole new vibe to the history!
The historic Ironclad inn was full of beautiful backdrops and inviting rooms, making the guests feel comfortable and quite literally at home. The outdoor space complete with a fountain gave the ceremony a modern yet historic backdrop plus our perfect weather with sun flare completed it all!
We moved into the banquet room for the cake and dance party, which as evident by the images a total blast.
