Okinawa Japan Staycations for Military

If you’ve been here since the start of 2020, odds are you’re itching for a getaway. Here’s three staycation options that fall currently within regulations:

Okuma

Think of Okuma like Adult camp with gorgeous beaches! This place is fun fun with gorgeous scenery abounding, but loding is not fancy! Beaches, go carting, water sports, restaurants on site, golf course, putt-putt and trails for hiking. Its one of our favorite places on island, hands down. Lodging is humble and there are multiple different options from pitching a tent, to suite rooms, and even a cabin that sleeps 10! You will need your military ID to get in and book through this website. This place is constantly filled, but keep calling and you’ll inevitably score a room potentially from a cancellation! Also there’s tons to-do nearby too, I rounded up all those things in this post, click here!

White Beach

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to White beach, but its beloved nonetheless for its great beaches, camping options, playgrounds and restaurants on base too. Also nearby attraction such Katsuren Castle and Hamihiga island would be great to check out off base too!! Lodging options are cabins, renovated RV’s and campsite. Click here for their booking info!

Doubletree Hilton

There is a current offer for Military Sofa status in colloboration with the Hilton Doubletree in American Village. THe hilton boasts of gorgeous pools with a waterslide, pool side food, and modern rooms. To book this current deal, call the Westpac to get more info:
