Our perfect day

This Sunday we celebrate 6 years of marriage, wahoo! I could practically wrote a book on how perfect our  wedding day was but will attempt to refrain myself and leave you with a few details! (our best pics are in storage, so pardon the fuzzy images!)
The setting was my husband’s alma mater, the Merchant Marine Academy on Long Island, NY, the programs were hand-made, hubby sang most of the songs, and my child-hood pastor married us!
Here’s the color palette:
I chose varying shades of gold in all different dresses for the bridesmaids!
Even our rather unconventional scripture reading highlighted our color palette:
“All glorious is the princess within her chamber; her gown is interwoven with gold” Ps 45:13
Here’s the dress that launched a thousand ships and the whole event (color scheme and all) Saw it in a magazine, died, went to the store, tried it on and it was done! Yes, I only tried on one dress, when you know you know! I just couldn’t get over the exquisite gold embroidered sash. My maiden name is Fazzaro, this dress is by an Italian designer, Lazaro…I mean, c’mon don’t you think it was providential?!

Our darling flower girl wearing her Daddy’s cover.
My Daddy walking me down the aisle.
The sword detail, one of my favorite parts, required us to kiss in order to pass!
The scripture for Adam was also befitting:
“Gird your sword upon your side, O mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty. In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness.” Ps 45:3-4

Here we are all newly-wed!

The whole gang, I just adore this photo and used it as our thank you’s since everyone is pictured. It was such an intimate affair with our closest family and friends, everything was done for a reason and held special meaning for us. My face literally hurt from smiling the entire time. Adam even penned a song and sang it to me, there wasn’t a dry eye present, just breathtaking. Six years later, I love him even more.
Our perfect sunset ending!
