Rambler Love

After viewing 16 sad-looking homes (mostly foreclosures) that needed more work then we could afford, we chose to build our own on 1 acre, 5 miles from Quantico Marine Corps Base in Stafford, Va!!! Adam was sold at 1 acre!
Our rambler is a two level home with 3 bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms in the finished rec room, plus 3 baths. We also get to pick everything out….colors, countertops, roof, flooring, you name it…too good to be true, huh? Well, bad news, takes 45-50 days to build, so our vagabond life will continue for a little while longer! Oh and did I mention the builder is a believer?!!

This is a model of what our house will look like except gray siding with black shutters.
Our lot and the backyard with all the trees 😉

The fireplace in the model and our neighbors home.

The insanely gorgeous vineyard within walking distance!
So call me a country bumpkin and give me a subscription to Country living, cuz I’m moving to the sticks, visitors welcome.
