Garden State

The two things I can’t stop thinking about during the summertime in Jersey are tomatoes and corn! Sounds silly, I know, but trust me when I say you haven’t had the real thing until you’ve tasted these! New Jersey has certainly earned it’s Garden State title!!

Then I wanna take the mouth watering tomatoes and turn it into some pasta puttanesca:

And take that sweet corn add some black beans, tomatoes, lime, cilantro, jalopeno,and give me a chip for a spoon and you have perfection (and a really healthy yummy salsa!)

I’m off to find me a vegetable stand! Happy Summer!
