This military retirement was beyond special, from the people, (who Ive been photographing for 10+ years) to the location and most of all the person retiring! This army retirement was in a secret venue much like nature of the military operations this active duty member endured. It was especially wonderful to be back in my old stomping ground of Old town Alexandria, Virginia.
My biggest goal as the photographer capturing military retirement is to be in stealth mode, yet capture as many details and candid as possible to really tell the full story of these long monumental careers.
