Oh Suzani

Member this post about my dining room windows? Well, I’ve got one more beautiful picture of roman shade confirmation to launch me headlong into the project:
Its from Lonny magazine and its exactly what my dining room windows need! Now, I must brainstorm and figure out how to use the least amount of the gorgeous Suzani fabric because its expensive! I want them faux and non-functioning to maintain our backyard tree view. I welcome any of your genius creative thoughts and ideas!!!
Here’s some of my favorite Suzani patterns from calico corners.
Fun tidbit: Suzani is a tribal textile made in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and is persian for needle.

Most frequently asked question!? When to book the newborn session- the magical window for posing is the first 10-14 days after birth! So book when you are expecting- we pencil in your due date then come to your home in Fredericksburg Va! I set up next to the best window- and preserve this special fleeting moment in time! We offer family session with newborn too and also like to include furry siblings! 🐶 🐈

2025 is the year of the wedding for me!! This snowy engagement session pretty much made my day when I arrived to 50 degree weather in Richmond at the botanical gardens! We headed straight for the Japanese section and it was magical!
