Wild Goose Chase

I’m in the midst of an extroadinary read, teeming with wonderful spiritual insight and nuggets of wisdom. Normally I don’t lean towards “spiritual self helps” if you will but this feels more like a rollercoaster ride at God’s amusement park. The author Mark Batterson says “the celtic christians called the holy spirit the ‘wild goose’ hinting at it’s mystery, danger, and air of unpredictability.” His writing unpacks the adventure and life-change involved when chasing the wild goose!
I attended his church in Washington D.C where I was prompted by one of his sermons to create a life-list, setting my standards high for things I hope to accomplish based on proverbs “without vision the people will perish.” Six years later I have now rode an elephant in Thailand, learned to play the guitar, and been baptized in the East China sea all because of that list!! Pretty revolutionary!
The book is available on amazon or you can catch Mark on his own blog as well!
