Parking Lot Paradigm

Last Sunday the parking attendants at Church directed my car for what felt like forever in seemingly circles to a parking space. Truth is I was happy to park far away and hike the distance with three year old in tow! Shortly after my frustrated and disgruntled sigh, my car was ushered into the front row, best space in the whole place!!! Gulp, don’t I feel sheepish.
In spiritual terms, God offers the best while I impatiently and willingly settle for less; nibbling at scraps rather than feasting at His table.
Funny, I got a sermon before I even entered the building!
