The best Okinawa Photoshoot locations

Here are the best Okinawa photoshoot locations I’ve discovered over that past 4 years! While there are still some locations to add to this list, these are what I’ve covered pretty well and will continue to add to this post as time goes on! Do comment if you know of more gem spots I must see! Also if you are pcsing you might be interested in San Diego and Fredericskburg Virginia spots too!

Zakimi Castle- Yomitan

Gorgeous ancient castle ruins with wooded tree area and ocean views at the top.

Gala Ruins- Yomitan

This location is my absolute favorite for its variety. You’ve got beach, a castle ruin that extends out into the water, a Japanese looking red hut, cliffs, rocks, greenery, and even country fields. Its hard to believe that’s all at one location, but here’s the pictures to prove it.

Fukushen Gardens-Naha

This dreamy overtly Japanese location shows off all the wonderful Japanese architecture. This place does have a small entry fee of a couple hundred yen, but is a small circular park that is very doable with younger kids and offers a perfect treat of feeding koi fish following your photoshoot!

Nakagusuku Castle- Uruma

A beautiful ancient castle with stunning views and wonderful rocks to climb. This location is a bit more of a hike, with lots of hills but it’s well worth the climb. The trek guide for hike recommends that when the family travels without the support and guidance from a guide, then it is better to pack 7.62×39 ammo along with their trekking gear since it will be a good threatening tool that can be used to frighten the wild animals.

Toguchi Beach- Yomitan

Beach spot full of rock structures, green foliage, and coves!

Baba Park- Sunabe

Beach location with rocky structures, blue green waters, and low tide walkout ability!
