Hey! It’s Maria, your local Fredericksburg Va photographer! We love it so much here that we bought and renovated one of Fredericksburg’s oldest and most historic homes. I’m a Marine Corps spouse, former R.N (still hold that license because nobody wants to take board exams again) and current photographer. Here’s the truth though, I love the people more than the actual photography! I’m a thorough extrovert that’s energized by being with you, your family, and your big milestone moments. Who I photograph?
I specialize in families, newborns, and small events (military and micro-weddings). I love to see the way families interact and pick up on all those special connections and bonds that make your families tick. As for small events- I’ve photographed military events for 10+years and have that sequence of events memorized so you can sit back and relax during the ceremony.

Newborn Photography
Newborn photography is one of my specialities, even awarded a “master photographer” credential in this area specifically. This means I was evaluated in my handling and safety care of newborns and posing them in photography. Statistically, this is what I’m booked for the most and an area I’ve really honed my skill set towards. I pose the babies in a natural way that looks flattering to baby and bring all the props to you, so you and your newborn stay in the comfort of your own home. Please note to ensure this result the baby must be photographed within 10-14 days after their birth, this is the magical window! Military Photography
As a military spouse of 20+ years with a recently retired Marine spouse, I have the military retirement ceremonies down. They have truly become “my thing!” The sequence of events is memorized and I truly find these events joyful and an absolute honor to photograph.
