The nature of my husband’s job lends itself to frequent trips and my extroverted people loving self struggles a bit, particularly in our non subdivision country home. Let’s just say late at night my mind becomes consumed with ridiculousness like kidnapping, burglary, and the such. Seriously how did this happen? When you’ve been giving much...
So good to have a God who is over all! Thanks for the inspiring message, I'm enjoying them!
Thank you !
1. Love your blog! Please keep up the good work!
2. My husband travels as well and here's a fav verse of mine: '(She) will have no fear of bad news; (her) heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord' Psalm 122:7
I've been lurking around your blog for ages and finally decided to leave a comment. I used to struggle with near paralyzing fear when my hubby would travel. Mercifully, God has helped me overcome my fear and I am happy to say that I sleep like a baby whenever my hubby is away.
My favorite verse to recite when I'm freaked out at night… "I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." Psalms 4:8
I stumbled onto your blog a while ago, but I don't think I ever commented. I just wanted to say thanks for this post. I'm home alone this evening, the roads are too icy to go anywhere, and it's easy to feel lonely and overwhelmed alone in the cold house. God used this post to cheer me up a little. Thanks for sharing!
Oh thank you so much for sharing! My husband is an EMT and works nights too. The other night i called him and kept him on the phone as I checked the downstairs with a baseball bat after hearing a noise. I love to recite scripture and then a peace does come over me. We are so blessed that we are never alone. Your sharing this was such a comfort to me!
