Swing Therapy

Yesterday Gideon says, “I don’t want to be 3 anymore” to which I reply,
“I don’t want to be an adult anymore, trade ya?!” With a pending mortage, job interviews, the ongoing pressure to keep up with the Jones’ (particularly in this area) this rat race- driven country has got me exhausted!! I’d gladly exhange it for a care-free day at the park, climbing jungle gyms and soaring high on the swings! In fact, that’s exactly what we did last night, following another home debacle…I hopped on the swings with my 3 year old and let the burdens of this world melt away. Note to self: engage in child-like faith, play, and silliness more often, its healing!
