I promise we are not trying to be weird or crazy by naming him Boaz! It all started with us wanting a girl named Ruth (Ruthie)! When God had different plans we were a bit stumped for names, but believe the name Ruth led us to Boaz (which was her husband). Boaz means “he who comes in strength and swiftness” and is known as as “kinsman redeemer” which represents how Jesus redeems us. Boaz is also in the geanealogy of Jesus himself. So powerful. Also my pastor who’s had a defining impact on my walk with the Lord and also married Adam and I is affectionately nicknamed, “Bo.” So all signs truly pointed to Boaz!
In the womb he’s already proven to be both strong and swift with his kicks and flips! Can’t wait to meet him!

Boaz to Ruth, “May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you richly be rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
Ruth 2:12
